Jim Ed Kostiha Bio

 

Jim Ed Kostiha opened his first Subway franchise in the community of Aledo, in June of 2008.  During next 5 years, he expanded the business with the purchase of Subways in Santo, Cresson, Godley, and Brock.  After selling his Subway franchises in 2012, Jim Ed joined the ownership team, as Director of Development for Old School Pizza Company, located in Mineral Wells, TX.  He also has ownership interests in Fuzzy Taco Shops in Mineral Wells, Stephenville, Granbury, and Burleson.  Jim Ed serves as Managing Partner for Circle H2 Convenience store located in Lipan, TX.  He and his wife started a real estate investment group in 2013 called J.A.M. Ventures.          

 

Jim Ed has resided in the DFW area for the majority of his life.  He was a graduate of Gordon ISD in 1997.  After high school, he attended Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin. After acquiring his undergraduate degree, he came back home to Texas to acquire a Masters Degree from Texas Christian University.  While at TCU, Jim Ed served as the treasure for the Graduate School Senate.

 

Jim Ed enjoys spending time with his two children, Noah and Harper.  Though he admits that his children and businesses take up most of his free time, he enjoys fishing and golfing when given the opportunity.  The Kostiha family members are avid supporters of TCU athletics, and are proud of the national recognition the school has earned during the past few years.  Jim Ed is a member of the Rotary Club of Weatherford and participates on the Allocations Committee & Board of Directors for the United Way of Parker County.  He also serves on the tourism committee for Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce.  Jim Ed and his family are serving members of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Weatherford.
