Community Support

Anchor 7

The Business Development Group of Aledo continues to support programs within our community that assist in the education and well-being of our growing community. We strive to build a strong foundation for today's youth and tomorrow's leaders.

Camp Fire First Texas provide quality after school care at each of the four Aledo ISD elementary schools, giving working parents one less thing to worry about.  With the support of BDGA no child or family in need is ever turned away.  BDGA has also made it possible for Aledo-area children to spend a very special week at Camp El Tesoro de la Vida, a world-class grief camp for kids who have lost someone dear to them.  Camp Fire and BDGA are committed to the well-being of youth in our area.

The BDGA is dedicated to working with Aledo Young Life as they focus on teaching the truth about God and His love for them. We believe our youth deserves to know what life can hold for them, and with a strong support team, we can continue the Young Life legacy in our community.

The members of Business Development Group of Aledo host an annual clay shoot.  All proceeds from the event, go to the BDGA Charitable Foundation.  The Foundation provides funding, via a grant mechanism, to local social services and non-profit agencies in east Parker County.  The Foundation also provides funding  to Aledo High School organizations such as Future Business Leaders of America and college scholarships to the students in the FFA program at the high school.

Focusing on the personal growth and career success through agriculture education, the BDGA supports the Future Farmers of American as they prepare students for success with informed choices in agriculture and other natural resources.

We support the Business Leaders of American as they continue to educate students and prepare them for prosperous careers in business and business-related fields.
