Josh Rogers Bio
Milestone Portraits is an Aledo based, family owned photography studio. We started our business in 2001 and opened up our retail location in Aledo in 2006. Our studio is in the heart of Aledo's downtown historic district in an early 1900's Craftsman style home. We specialize in portraits for babies & children, high school senior portraits and family portraits.
My wife, Kim started the business and is the photographer and I am co-owner and manage the business operations and sales. I graduated with a BBA from University of Texas in Arlington, majoring in Management and Marketing. Professionally, I have always been in sales/sales management in some capacity in various industries and started working full time with the portrait business in 2006 when we opened up our retail studio in Aledo.
I am also the director of The Yellow House Project, a non-profit that is dedicated to Christ-like mentorship in our community. The Yellow House Project is currently home to Aledo Young Life, which we launched here in our town in 2013, and I serve as a volunteer leader and also on the committee. The Yellow House is also used to help several other organizations whose mentorship goals and values are similar to ours. Our weekly BDGA meetings are also held every Tuesday morning at the Yellow House. For more information visit yellowhouseproject.org.
We have two children, Reed and Carlee, both in Aledo schools, class of 2018 and 2020. We moved to Aledo in 2006, which was our oldest's kindergarten year. We are members at New River Fellowship in Hudson Oaks. We are an active family in the community and pretty much love all things outdoors.
